After a rigorous application process and interview, Cameron was chosen as one of eight up and coming composers to participate in the Royal Philharmonic Society's prestigious 'Composer Programme'.

Dating back to Beethoven and Mendelssohn, the Royal Philharmonic Society (RPS) places composers at the heart of their organisation and is one of the flagship programmes for emerging composers. As part of this bespoke programme, Cameron has received a commission for Ensemble 10:10, a subsidiary new music ensemble of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. This will culminate in 2025, where he will write a new chamber orchestra piece for this ensemble.
